Everyday spend time touching base with your Husband and children. Enjoy talking over breakfast or dinner. It does not matter what you eat, as long as the family takes time to talk and pray with one another. Everyone in the family, may need to wake up earlier than usually or move things around in their schedule, but it will be worth it. It is very important to have quality family time, as much as possible.

Lunch Break

If you work during the day, it can be difficult organizing your family life. However, you can utilize your lunch break to accomplish many things. Using your lunch break wisely can beneficial to your family! Do what you can during your break, such as; make Doctor's and Dental appointments, shop, bible study, work out, pay bills, haircut and even spend time with your Husband. There is lots that can be done during your lunch break, so that you can have more quality time with your family. Doing task during your lunch break does not have to compromise you eating during your lunch break. Make sure to eat something, even if its an energy bar or fruit.

After Work

When your day is finished at work, be sure to leave work at work! Your family needs your attention at home. Allow them to have a nice evening with you, without any of the stress from work. This does not mean that you cannot talk about how your day went at work, but be sure to keep the drama at work. You should spend time with God in prayer before you come home to your family, that way you can have the help of God to escape the stress from work. A sample prayer that you can use is:

Lord,

Thank you that my day at work is over! I am grateful that I had the opportunity to use my skills to help my employer. I know all my hard work will pay off and I will reap the rewards from my employer. Please help me to release any disputes, stress, confusion, emotions or disappointments that may have taken place during the day. I pray this prayer in Jesus' name. Amen

Key things to remember

  • As a Christian, everything you do needs to be done excellently and that includes your job.
  • Set out the necessary items that you will need in the morning, before bed. -Backpacks, cereal boxes, lunches, Bible, devotions, keys, cellphones, and any other items that you and your family may need for the day.
  • As a Christian Wife, it is the time you spend with your Husband before and after work that is the greatest and most joyful time of the day!
  • Get a good night sleep, because if you are not fully rested you are not going to be any help to anyone.

Once you are home, enjoy your family. Always remember to give them your best and thank God for blessing you with your beautiful family!
